Introducing Second Semester: A Bellhaven Story
Our own original game: a small, sandbox-style adult story in a sunlit coastal college town. Here is where it stands.
Second Semester is RealBite’s own game: set in an original town, with all-new dialogue, and made entirely separately from our fan remake.
It takes place in Bellhaven, a sunny coastal city of cherry-blossom avenues, cobbled shopping streets, a river and a busy harbour. The story follows Adrian Cole (whose name you can change) and his loud, shameless roommate and best friend Milo Hayes as they start the second year of college at Bellhaven Metropolitan College.
The look is painterly and Ghibli-inspired: warm golden light, soft watercolour texture, ivy on old brick and spring blossom everywhere.
Where it stands
- The Day One prologue is complete. It runs from Adrian oversleeping to the end of his first class, and introduces the main cast.
- Bellhaven is on the map. The prologue ends by unlocking an interactive, illustrated city map with a downtown sub-map. A handful of places open now; the rest are marked for later chapters.
- It has its own music. Eight original tracks, cued scene by scene.
- Next is the day-and-map loop. From Day Two you choose where to go and who to see, and character routes branch from there.
There is no public build yet. When there is, it will be announced here and on our Discord, and the download will appear on the Downloads page.
Second Semester is an adult game, intended for players aged 18 and over.
